How to know if you have an animal living in your wall
You will hear a loud noise of scratching or chewing. It's important to know what New York animal is stuck in your wall, it could be a squirrel, a rat, a mouse, a raccoon or others. And it is important to know if the animal is alone, or if it's a mother with her babies. So, an animal can be stuck or can be living inside your wall. Most common cases are when the animal that was living in your attic, fell down the wall and now it's stuck and it can't get out. In this case you will hear scratching, and you will have to remove it yourself or by calling an expert. If the animal is living in your wall, then you will occasionally hear movements or scratching, the animal will crawl back into the attic or other place, that way you will have to find the entrance/exit hole so you can remove it.
How to remove a live animal in your wall
First you need safety. Required tools you're going to need:
• Gloves
• A mask, there might be droppings from the animal that might carry a disease
• And a saw so you can cut the wall
Most Suffolk County animals that live in the wall can crawl into the attic, but those who are stuck you have to get them out yourself or calling an expert. If the animal is stuck, first you have to find out where the scratching is coming from, then you're going to have to cut a square hole in your wall and then carefully remove the live animal that stuck in there. If the animal is living in there it's best if you leave traps just before the entrance/exit holes.
Is it okay if the animal dies?
If you hear scratching in your wall and you do nothing about it, it's possible that the New York animal is going to die from dehydration or exhaustion. If the animal dies, you have to remove it right away because it's going to start to smell. If the animal dies and starts smelling you're going to have to follow the scent and cut there to remove the dead animal, then deodorize the place.
